About
Reflective Spaces Ministry, Corp, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2021 by Tammy Toney-Butler, a former emergency department nurse and sexual assault nurse examiner.
Following the Holy Spirit's whisper, she and her husband, David, relocated to Lee County, Florida. They purchased a ten-acre parcel of land to begin a trauma-focused, prophetic healing ministry.
Tammy, a Healing Evangelist, can be found on the streets, going after the ones who need it. Tammy’s lived experience provides a unique teaching style and trauma-focused lens perspective, offering survivors environments conducive to healing mind, body, and spirit.
Tammy Toney-Butler, as a teenager, survived the loss of her father to suicide. She overcame being a victim of child sex trafficking and coping with the aftermath of trauma through various addictions through her faith in the Lord Jesus, and is a powerful testimony of faith in action.
In 2023, Reflective Hour with Tammy Toney-Butler was launched as a podcast and on YouTube as a platform for transformational healing in Christ.
The Reflective Spaces Ministry Podcast was launched in 2024, first on podcast platforms and later on YouTube.

Mission and Goals
Our mission is to provide trauma-informed spaces of reflection for survivors of human trafficking, sexual violence, and childhood adversity to thrive in a faith-filled environment.
In addition, our team offers spiritual support for survivors/thrivers of all forms of trauma, including a place of respite to prevent vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue in caregivers/first-responders.
Furthermore, our focus is on bridging the gaps in services with our high-risk youth and mitigating the factors that place them at risk for exploitation. Thus, they can soar to their full potential, becoming all God purposed for their lives.
Prevention of continued traumatic exposure is critical to complete restoration and healing in survivors of all forms of trauma; thus, our clientele is diverse in nature and experiences.
Love is the secret ingredient in restoration. We strive to bring love, joy, peace, and humility to our interactions with those seeking a safe refuge from life's storms.
Join our team, join our efforts!

Our Vision
Tammy Toney-Butler and David Butler sold everything they owned and purchased land to foster an environment conducive to healing mind, body, and spirit. A holistic approach to wholeness through faith, one layer at a time.
Recognizing that the environment is key to breaking the cycle of poverty and trauma, thus enhancing spiritual growth. By removing the landscape of poverty, changing old mindsets, and giving individuals physical structure to ascend, they can empower them to break generational cycles of abuse and step fully into all God has purposed for their lives. A power couple, serving and leading from the heart, and ensuring no child or adult is left behind.
David retired from the Army as a Major after twenty-two years of service and from the Collier County Sheriff's Office as a Deputy and Honorary Sergeant, where he served for twenty-five years. David served in several overseas deployments and, as a leader, served his country and community with honor.
Tammy retired as an emergency department nurse and sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE), serving for over thirty years as an advocate for the hurting. Now, Tammy is applying those skills and her lived experience to help others heal.
As a survivor of child sex trafficking, loss of father to suicide as a teenager, and burying him on Father's Day, overcoming addictions she used as coping mechanisms, all through her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, she has a unique tool set, unlike many others. Thus, impacting her rise as a Healing Evangelist, peacekeeper, and messenger of the Truth.
"Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations." Matthew 12:18 KJV

"Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaining. Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. Whoever speaks must do so as one speaking the very words of God; whoever serves must do so with the strength that God supplies, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ. To Him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen."

God has placed each of us here for His specific purpose. Open your heart to the Holy Spirit, and you will understand His will for your life, and experience His blessing and fulfillment as you pursue the path laid before you.
A great life isn't necessarily achieved by doing great things; it's achieved by accomplishing a multitude of little things, over time, consistently focused on God's glory.
