Freedom from the Pain of the Past

As a child of God, you no longer need to walk in fear and condemnation. Once you accepted Christ into your heart, you were set free, at that very moment, but can you believe it and walk in that freedom? Can you see that you are the shining Light in someone else's world? What's that, you doubt what I just said? Do not take my word for it; look to the sixty-six books in the Bible for confirmation.
Get alone with God in the secret place, and seek His companionship, His love, His guidance, and you will walk in a peace like no other. A peace that transforms, redeems, restores, and radically changes the world. A love that embraces, empowers, enlightens, and equips.
Can you love others as I have loved you? Can you show mercy and grace to those who have wronged you in the past? Can you let go of the bitterness, the anger, the hate, and allow the Light to transform you layer by layer? Yes, you are a hot mess, who isn't? I was once lost too, but now I am found, was blind, but now I see.
If Christ can redeem a sinner like me, set me free from shame, guilt, fear, regret, and coping through various addictions; He can radically change your life too. I am not the person I once was, nor do I ever want to be again. I am walking in a wholeness I can not explain, a transformation, only made possible by the agape love of Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus died on the Cross, so I could live free. Free in my mind, breaking out of old mindsets, and embracing a new life of choice, voice, and victory. Will you walk with me? Will you help me set the others free? Then, please find your voice. Step out into all God has for you. If you do not know how, ask the Holy Spirit to help you let go of the past, of the hurt, of the offense, of the spirit of rejection. Forgive those who hurt you, pray for them, and step into a peaceful, joyous existence, emboldened by Abba Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
