How do you let go of it?

It’s in the letting go that we become and thrive, yet it is the hardest thing we must do as survivors.

Letting go of control, or the presumption of control, and surrendering our lives to the Lord Jesus.

Things change when you say no to your will and yes to His.

But what does that change look like?

I like where I am because it’s the comfortable known.

Yes, it leads me down destructive pathways, but it’s all I have ever known.

What’s that? You want me to thrive and have an abundant, long life, peace, and joy.

Really, how is that even possible?

I tell you, it is possible because of Jesus’s work on the Cross.

We are wounded, broken vessels that He transforms by His marvelous Light.

We are reborn, children of the Light, made in His image with His blood covering us and bringing us into a purified reflection of His Glory for the world to see.

Yes, that’s right. You are never too dirty, guilty, or full of shame to seek restoration and healing at the foot of the Cross.

Repent means to turn from your old ways that no longer serve you and get your sin-soaked garments changed. Instead of those old clothes, get clothed with praise, righteousness, and splendor garments.

Have nothing more to do with sin. Instead, ask Christ to renew your heart and mind, unveil the Truth to you, loosen the soul ties of the past that have you bound, and break free into a new creation In Christ Jesus.

That’s your portion.

Heal, rejoice, reside in Him, abide in Him.

Trust in Him.

Walk with Him.

He is waiting.
