In the Waiting Room of Promise

How many of you are waiting on the promises God spoke over your life to be fulfilled? You are in the waiting room, enduring, trial after trial, test after test, like the Israelites in the wilderness.
Are you crying out to God with praise and worship for all He has already done in your life, or are you complaining like the Egyptians? During a trial, a testing season, we can forget to thank God for all He has already brought us through.
We look at our situation from a lens of lack (poverty mindset), seeing what He has not done, what He promised that has not come to pass yet, what we still don't have, instead of looking through the lens of Kingdom, of abundance (Kingdom mindset), and praising Him for what He has already supplied.
Praise is a weapon and we must remember to praise Him in the hallway of affliction, in the waiting room of promise, in the seasons of enduring. Praise Him simply because He sent His son, Lord Jesus, to die on the Cross, so we could have eternal life.
Let's look to scripture and find reasons to praise while we wait on the promises God spoke over our life to come to pass. Trusting, He is a good Father, and in His perfect timing, all will be fulfilled according to His perfect will.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
8 Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 3 For what the Law could not do [that is, overcome sin and remove its penalty, its power] being weakened by the flesh [man’s nature without the Holy Spirit], God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful man as an offering for sin. And He condemned sin in the flesh [subdued it and overcame it in the person of His own Son], 4 so that the [righteous and just] requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not live our lives in the ways of the flesh [guided by worldliness and our sinful nature], but [live our lives] in the ways of the Spirit [guided by His power]. 5 For those who are living according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [which gratify the body], but those who are living according to the Spirit, [set their minds on] the things of the Spirit [His will and purpose]. 6 Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever—because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God—both now and forever];
Adopting a Kingdom mindset, a habit of praise, will strengthen your walk with God, and build up your faith muscle. Bringing to remembrance what He already has done, the greatest gift Father could ever give us, eternal life, through His Son, Lord Jesus Christ, and His work on the Cross. By His suffering, His thirty-nine stripes, we gained freedom from sin, sickness, and disease.
5
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing];
The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him,
And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.
I would say that is reason enough to praise. This season, let's focus on what we do have, be grateful, instead, of focusing on the things we are still believing Him for with regards to our Kingdom assignment. We see in Galatians 6:9, a reason to praise and not grow weary.
9 Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.
Pray, rebuke that spirit of discouragement off your life, command it to go now in the powerful name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and declare God's Truth over your life.
6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Blessings and Peace,
