Peace Is Your Compass

How many of you need discernment in your life? A need to know which way to go as you are aligning yourself with God's will. How do you know if you are walking the right path? Which direction do you choose?
In my personal walk with God, peace has always been my guide. From the moment the joy of the Lord filled me, and I was overcome with such profound peace, I made a decision to never let anything or anyone destroy my peace.
How many of you are in a relationship with turmoil, angst, fighting, or physical abuse? Verbal abuse? I can tell you that is not God's best for you and what does the Bible say about being unequally yoked?
2 Corinthians 6:14
King James Version
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14
Amplified Bible
14 Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
Matthew 11:28-30
New International Version
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
Amplified Bible
28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”
Peace is to be our guide. If our peace leaves us and we are restless, agonizing over a decision we made or something we agreed to do for someone, we should question whether it is of God. If your peace left you as soon as you said "yes" to their event, need, or assignment they wanted you to carry out, then is it not of God?
Now, that being said, it does not mean anything is wrong with them, necessarily; it could just be a matter of timing, or it would take you out of alignment for your God-given assignment. You see, God has a plan and purpose for your life. You must believe it, fight for it, and refuse to partner with anything or anyone that would derail your Kingdom purpose. As Paul says in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” This season, you must be all about the Kingdom in your walk with God. You do not have to fear answering “no.” Remember, scripture teaches us, to let our no be no and our yes, yes.
Matthew 5:37
New King James Version
37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
Let 2026 be a year of you practicing the pause before you answer a request. Pause, pray, then respond, even if you need to get back to the person requesting your assistance in a couple of days. Their need for an immediate answer is not your priority. Doing God's will and staying spiritually aligned are your priorities. So let peace be your compass.
Stay in perfect peace, despite your circumstances or the darkness in the world. Peace is possible for every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 14:27
New Living Translation
27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
If you do not know Jesus and you want to know Jesus then you can say the prayer below. if you do, please email me at info@reflectivespacesministry.com so I can pray for you and email you out some valuable resources.
Sinner’s Prayer to be Saved
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, "The one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out" (John 6:37 NKJV). I know You won't cast me out or turn me away. I know You take me in and I am grateful for You and thank You. You said in Your Word, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13 NKJV). I am calling on Your Name, now, Oh Lord, and I believe You have saved me, a lost sinner. You also state in Your Word, in Romans 10: 9-10, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth of confession is made unto salvation." I believe Jesus rose from the dead for my justification. I am now reconciled to God. I confess Jesus as My Lord and Savior. Because Your Word says that "with the heart one believes unto righteousness," and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). I now know I have been redeemed, restored, saved by the blood of Jesus.
Thank You, Lord Jesus. I praise and honor You and believe with this prayer and declaration that the Holy Spirit, Your Spirit, lives inside of me, making me fresh, clean, and new. I surrender to God's will for my life, instead of my will. Thank You, God, for giving me the heart and mind of Christ, for washing me clean, and setting me free.
If you prayed this prayer, welcome to the family! Please email us at info@reflectivespacesministry.com to discuss next steps and mail you out resources for your walk as a new Christian.
(Prayer adapted from Kenneth E. Hagin's Laying on of Hands Book, pg. 33, Rhema Bible Church.)
Today, walk in peace and joy, and praise God for sending the Lord Jesus, His son, to die on the Cross so we could live free from the curse of the law, free from sin's condemnation. Jesus came to reconcile us with Abba Father, by His blood shed on Calvary.
2 Corinthians 5:11-21

Helping People Become God’s Friends
11 We know what it means to fear the Lord, so we try to help people accept the truth. God knows what we really are, and I hope that in your hearts you know us too. 12 We are not trying to prove ourselves to you again. But we are telling you about ourselves. We are giving you reasons to be proud of us. Then you will have an answer for those who are proud about what can be seen. They don’t care about what is in a person’s heart. 13 If we are crazy, it is for God. If we have our right mind, it is for you. 14 The love of Christ controls us, because we know that one person died for everyone. So all have died. 15 He died for all so that those who live would not continue to live for themselves. He died for them and was raised from death so that they would live for him.
16 From this time on we don’t think of anyone as the world thinks of people. It is true that in the past we thought of Christ as the world thinks. But we don’t think that way now. 17 When anyone is in Christ, it is a whole new world. The old things are gone; suddenly, everything is new! 18 All this is from God. Through Christ, God made peace between himself and us. And God gave us the work of bringing people into peace with him. 19 I mean that God was in Christ, making peace between the world and himself. In Christ, God did not hold people guilty for their sins. And he gave us this message of peace to tell people. 20 So we have been sent to speak for Christ. It is like God is calling to people through us. We speak for Christ when we beg you to be at peace with God. 21 Christ had no sin, but God made him become sin so that in Christ we could be right with God.
2 Corinthians 5:11-21
Amplified Bible
11 Therefore, since we know the fear of the Lord [and understand the importance of obedience and worship], we persuade people [to be reconciled to Him]. But we are plainly known to God [He knows everything about us]; and I hope that we are plainly known also in your consciences [your God-given discernment]. 12 We are not commending ourselves to you again, but are giving you an occasion to be [rightfully] proud of us, so that you will have an answer for those who take pride in [outward] appearances [the virtues they pretend to have] rather than what is [actually] in heart. 13 If we are out of our mind [just unstable fanatics as some critics say], it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for your benefit. 14 For the love of Christ controls and compels us, because we have concluded this, that One died for all, therefore all died; 15 and He died for all, so that all those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and was raised for their sake.
16 So from now on we regard no one from a human point of view [according to worldly standards and values]. Though we have known Christ from a human point of view, now we no longer know Him in this way. 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. 18 But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him], 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God].
20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. 21 He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].
May blessings and peace follow you this day as you walk as an ambassador of the Kingdom of Light.

Abba Father, my prayer for all who read this is for them to have greater discernment, strengthening of their inner man, and clarity where confusion once held sway. Give them fresh oil today, Father, and protection as it says in Psalm 91, send angels to encamp about them and all those they hold dear. In Your Mighty Name Lord Jesus Christ, we pray and declare all things. Amen.
