Christ can heal your conscience and deliver you from the frustration of trying to earn God's favor. What does His word tell us?
12: With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.
13 Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity.
14 Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds[a] so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.
We can take our guilt-ridden selves to Christ, confess our inability to cleanse our conscience, and ask Christ to forgive us as we repent of our sinful deeds. Thank Christ for your deliverance from sin, believing you have been delivered and washed clean by the blood of the Lamb.
You will have a clean record then, a clean slate to draw from and guide you now on the righteous path.
Our culture glorifies self-effort and personal achievement and sets unrealistic expectations for most of us due to circumstances out of our control. Culture defines a successful person as obtaining financial security, health and fitness, respect for others, goals achieved, material possessions, and social stature.
The Bible measures success as someone accepting Christ's sacrifice on the Cross and letting it change their heart, mind, and soul as the Creator purposed our lives to be. We must surrender, obey, and abandon trying to earn our way to Heaven; the futility of deeds is recognized. Instead, let the blood of Christ purify your conscience, making you a new being.
Jesus is Life. Many are spiritually dead and imprisoned due to shame, guilt, regret, and rampant sin. We need Christ's blood to wash us clean and purify our hearts and minds, thus becoming new creatures. What does God's Word say?
24 “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.
I was transformed, and you can be too. The last days are upon us; let's usher in a new era of grace and forgiveness. What does God's Word say?
27 And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment
JUDGEMENT IS COMING! God's courtroom is like the Supreme Court; there will be no other appeal or pardon once a verdict is reached. Are you ready? If you want a favorable ruling, seek Jesus. Ask Jesus to free you, pardon you from the sins of the past, and walk in a new life. His blood can wash you clean; Christ's blood was shed on the Cross at Calvary. God's judgment of you will be based on the blood of Jesus, His precious son.
After you are set free, Go, testify, and tell the others the Gospel's good news, for judgment is near. Repent and turn!
